As some of you may know, in the past couple of years I have gotten into flamenco dancing. I did ballet for many years as a young woman and then did whatever dance, whenever throughout my 20's. Then I found flamenco. Now, I am obsessed. I take 4 classes a week with Oscar Nieto and Kasandra Lea and truly, feel that I have found my thing. This picture captures why I love it so much. It is, for me, a dance of individuality which, I never felt when I did ballet. It brings me to a place where I love my body, self, soul...all that.
